Route to Kinabalu Park: Tamparuli Bridge (Jambatan Tamparuli)
Tamparuli Bridge
It took appoximately 2 and a half hours to reach Kinabalu Park from Kota Kinabalu. On the way there, we came across Tamparuli. So we decided to check out the bridge as it is well-known in Malaysia (or maybe world-known).

Tamparuli Bridge is a hanging bridge. But, according to Ben (credit to Ben) , this is not the original bridge, the basis for Justin Lusah’s 1970s song, "Jambatan Tamparuli". The original one was washed away in the biggest flood ever to hit Tamparuli in January 1999.
